Online Options for Fall: Our recent parent survey showed that many of our parents may be considering virtual classes for their students for fall, whether remote learning is required or not. For many years, DCS has offered a completely online program for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The courses are full online courses and are designed to be online instruction. More information is available using this link.
If you are interested in learning more about the program, please respond to a brief survey. If you are not interested in learning more, please do not fill out the survey. Filling out this form does not enroll your child in online learning next fall. This information will be used as a gauge for internal planning purposes by the district leadership team. Your participation will help greatly as we plan for next year and develop a variety of options for our families.

At Creekside Intermediate School, we focus on the particular needs of the later elementary/pre-adolescent child. We consider ourselves “adolescent specialists." The emphasis we place on academic growth helps students apply basic skills acquired in the earlier grades and build upon the strong foundation developed in grades K-4.
We also work to develop greater independence and responsibility for social choices and study habits. We believe that the core academic offerings of Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies should be balanced with instruction in the arts (visual, music and technology) and opportunities for physical activity (lifetime fitness and daily recess). We help students and their families prepare for middle school and beyond.
