Equal Opportunity Employer Notice:
We are an equal opportunity employer and we value the contributions of all staff members. The Board of Education does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, age, height, weight, marital status, or any other legally protected characteristics, in its programs and activities, including employment opportunities. Under Michigan law, an employee may not be discriminated against in employment because of a handicap that can be reasonably accommodated to enable that employee to perform a job. Handicapped employees who feel accommodations are needed to perform their job must notify Human Resources in writing of the need for accommodation. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, prohibits job discrimination because of disability and requires affirmative action to employ and advance in employment qualified individuals with disabilities who, with reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of a job.
