From the Kitchen Classroom and Garden
We wish to thank you for supporting our Kitchen Classroom by attending the Fall Soup Supper. We are also very happy to say that every student has come to the kitchen classroom and has had the opportunity to make and eat a healthy granola mix. This lesson was in connection to their Importance of Eating a Healthy Breakfast Lesson in Lifetime Fitness. We had lots of left overs. They were packaged and sold for $.50 a bag. Supplies ran out before every classroom was visited so we are "cooking" up another fun way for the students to make and support the Kitchen Classroom!
As we are in the season of gifting and donating, the kitchen classroom has some needs: liquid hand soap, liquid dish washing soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets and grocery store gift cards. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mary Seymour or Kirsten Korff.
Warm the Kids
Creekside Intermediate School is also collecting new and gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves and boots to donate to families in our own community. Collection boxes will be in the front of the building and in the office.
