Bates Elementary School

On December 19th, the Board of Education voted and approved the start of All Day / Every Day Kindergarten for the 2012 / 2013 school year.

Principals, Tim Authier and Craig McCalla will be hosting a Kindergarten / Young Fives information night on January 31st at Cornerstone Elementary School.

During this meeting you will learn about Dexter’s transition to all day Kindergarten and the Young Fives programs. We will talk about the curriculum, specials, pacing of the day, transportation, the selection process for schools and the selection process for the AM / PM Young Fives program. Prior to the meeting both Bates and Cornerstone Elementary schools will be open between 5:30 and 6:30pm for parents to walk through. The meeting begins at 6:30pm in the Cornerstone cafeteria. Half Day: 8:15 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
